Firstly, I know iNotes services are now on Domino Server for Linux. This is fine. I can use Internet Explorer 6 to access iNotes enabled email on a Domino server running on Linux.
So far so good.
I can NOT access my iNotes enabled email using Netscape running on Linux Client. Why is this? I know that there is an iNotes client due for release in the second half of the year, but this is for DOLS. I simply want to allow my Linux users to use a web browser to access email. No need for off-line services. Traditional web email works, but let's be honest - it is not that hot.
Surely accessing iNotes should be achievable using any browser on any platform.
Also - I can not use Netscape running on Windows to access iNotes enabled email - are IBM trying to force us to use IE?
